I recently moved to Vancouver and I really missed my housekeeper I had when I lived in Calgary. So I was a little skeptical hiring a new housekeeper. I hired Cleanify in the past to clean my 6 bedroom and 6 bathroom home using the same cleaning company Cleanify hired before “Mary’s Cleaning Services”. The results were satisfactory for $230 so when I was expecting company I decided to hire Cleanify again.
On their website they ask how many bedrooms and bathrooms the applicant has so I again filled in 6 for each. Cleanify estimated that the cleaning would take 6.5 hours and they would contact Mary’s Cleaning to do the job. We had all the carpets steam cleaned so the carpets didn’t need to be vacuumed, allowing more time for the cleaners to focus on the kitchen.

One person from Mary’s showed up (not two like before). The “cleaner” physically was in our home for 4 hours and cleaned only the bathrooms. The kitchen and rest of the entire house was not touched. When I got home I took pictures of everything that was not done and contacted Cleanify asking to have someone do the job completely as before.
The company responded to me with the email below:

I was able to talk with the cleaning service provider about the issue and what was advise is the cleaning time is not enough to do the whole cleaning. Moreover, it seems, the place requires more of a thorough cleaning which really requires more time than the given amount of time booked.

Allow us to give you $25 discount on the next appointment, feel free to advise as well if you are willing to have additional hours for this, in that way, the cleaning service provider could be able to cover everything.

Wow, who wouldn’t want to work as a cleaner for Cleanify? Do nothing and get paid regardless.

I was looking for a last minute move-out clean. Googled to check my options and found Cleanify. They were able to match me with a top-rated professional who did a phenomenal job. Honestly, it’s the cleanest my apartment has been…too bad I moved out! 🙂 However, on the brighter side I was able to get my full security deposit back which more than paid for the money I spent on the cleaning service. I am a happy customer!

Customer service was quick to make the sale, but unresponsive to complaints. They bill you up front (non refundable) and do NOT deliver on their satisfaction guarantee. The people Cleanify sent were ill supplied, under skilled and completely apathetic regarding the quality of their service. I asked them to call 15 minutes ahead of arrival so I could arrange entry and I asked them to call me when they left. They did neither. Judging from the thoroughly underwhelming quality of work I doubt very much they were there for the length of time I was billed for. Walls were spot cleaned with dirty water, surfaces were left uncleaned and toilets were left unflushed. Gross. This is the lowest common denominator of cleaning services.

Avoid at all costs.

They told the booking must be more hours for after renovation.

This was true the dust accumulate pretty good in many places.

I call to book and they had me for day I need.

Price was maybe bit less than others but not “cheap” from craiglist, but i had bad experience with craigslist.

So Cleanify did good job and pretty quickly too, they had 3 cleaners.

I am happy with the service.

I have always had trouble booking a move out cleaning whenever I move to a new place -its a gamble if your service will actually show. I tried Cleanify as them market themselves to be the next best thing -easy, quick and secure bookings. And they delivered!

I booked an all in flat rate service with a rep over the phone and paid with a credit card – no cash or cheque hassle finally!

I got my confirmation and receipt immediately and lo and behold, the maids showed up on the day of the cleaning on time and ready to clean. I left and told them to lock up when they were done.

I came back to a nice thank you note and a clean place. The follow up call the next day to see how my service went was a nice touch. My only recommendation: book online! 🙂

Had my house cleaning just yesterday.

They showed up right on time and did fanstastic job!

Extremely impressed with efficiency in booking and the support receive as I had a few questions.

We paid about $100 for the clean.
